But no… they’ve decided a Windows 10 “app” has replaced it, and I’m not interested in any UWP anything, certainly not on Windows 7 or 8.1. Not a lot of money by their lofty standards, of course, but every bit adds up. I’d be happy to simply pay the license fee and receive nothing other than the product key… no support, no map updates, nothing at all but money in their pocket. I would happily pay for the program if they would give me the opportunity, but of course, they don’t. It’s unfortunate that MS has decided to give up on the market, and the money that goes with it. Like you said, I also think S&T is the best mapping program I am aware of on the PC platform, even 7 years later. It’s the full version too, if you happen to have a product key, as it gives the choice of trial or registration at program start. Ironic, since there’s no option to ever purchase it should the trial prove successful. Microsoft makes the installer for the trial version of S&T 2013 available on their site, or at least they did last I checked (about a year or two ago, long after it was discontinued). So…I’ve purchased a new disc of S&T 2013 on Amazon, but I am worried that when it arrives & I load it…I will have the same problem.Īny ideas as to what to do?…thanx in advance, Went into my registry & cleaned out any entry that had to do w/ the program…reinstalled…but I still needed to register for the app to run longer that 30 days. Had a disk for S&T 2008…but could not also register online w/ MS…after 1 shot I could not use the program. (& the fact that MS discontinued all official S&T downloads) I had originally purchased & downloaded S&T 2011…but the chance to register was gone, w/ no disk (& no registry keys to go along w/ copying/pasting the program files over from backup). You can also personalize your maps with Microsoft Streets & Trips 2013 by adding notes for the stops you plan to make, as well as jotting down any reservation details or phone numbers you might need to remember for each location.Did a reinstall of Win 7 Pro (got corrupted somehow) & did not back up my registry settings. These include campgrounds, state and national parks, landmarks, and gas stations. In addition, Microsoft Streets & Trips 2013 boasts over 1.9 million points of interest for you to explore. Microsoft Streets & Trips 2013 lets you plan multiple stops, points of interest detours, and start and stop times for each day. The interface might be a little confusing at first because there are a lot of buttons, but once you get the hang of it you'll be mapping out pit stops in no time flat. Microsoft Streets & Trips 2013 will help enable you to plan out just about anything you'd like to do or see while you're traveling cross-country. Microsoft Streets & Trips 2013 can help you do all that and more. Plus, if there are any monuments or sights you want to take in, you'll need to plan for detours as well. You'll need to map out where roadside stops are located for food and bathroom breaks, figure out if you'd rather take a longer, more scenic route as opposed to the more direct highway, and figure out where to sleep for the night. If you're considering going on an extensive roadtrip, you've got a lot of planning ahead of you. Microsoft Streets & Trips 2013 is a useful trip planning program that'll guide you through every step of your roadtrip.
